imageMedical Marijuana - The Marijuana Medicine-Defense and Patient Rights Manual

By: Panama Red

This legal guidebook is the most complete and updated source available on the subject of marijuana medicine. It is also easy reading for the layperson. It was authored, and the procedures commented on, by California trial attorneys. We believe that this book contains unique litigation techniques and procedures in this developing area of California law. For example this book has the forms for what is believed to be the first  pre-arraignment dismissal in California. This comprehensive study of the history of Proposition 215 goes into court pleadings and orders. You will find out how to assert your rights in a state that largely ignores a patient's rights to obtain, use and possess this legal marijuana medicine from the arrest to exoneration by the court.

Patients' rights and proper approaches for the defense lawyer are the meat of this work. We include the leading court decisions which map out the course for dismissing the medical marijuana case.

This informative publication is currently undergoing final editing and proof reading and shall be available for purchase in the near future.

The price is $25.00, which includes shipping and handling.

Whether you are an attorney or not if you use marijuana medicinally we at Bud Life highly recommend this book.

Comment: I have a question, how big is a kilo brick of weed? Is it the same size as a regular brick used for construction? Thanks in advance.

Answer: Hi Cris, A kilo is bigger. About 3 inches high by 6 inches wide by 12 inches long. It's pressed tight. You gotta pull it apart.

Awesome Website

Comment: Incredible! Old friend, no one but you could have such an interesting and informative site. Are you still involved in NORML??? No question who wrote this article! We have been wondering about the "laws" here in Arizona ever since we moved here, but don't even know anyone to ask (much less any "contacts" in that regard…) I know we are having a medical marijuana initiative on our next election here, but for those of us unlucky enough to not have a "condition" I am wondering what the penalties are here… any info on that? Glad to see you are still in the life! I'll be checking out your site regularly!

[Ed note: Bill is on the Norml legal committee.]

Comment: Thanks for the history lesson on Panama Red. The guys at High Times said they never saw any Panama Red, so they thought it was some red Thai weed. I don't believe what I read in High Times, but I now believe that there was Panama Red. Even the Bud Life Book Review of the Smuggler from 1974 said that back in & '68 there was Panama Red.

Comment: I tried several times to access your site using Netscape 4.7 (Mac 0S 8.6) and each time my browser crashed (spontaneously quit). I tried using IE 5 (Mac) and was able to view your site. I have no idea why it keeps crashing Netscape but I thought you should know that it's happening. I hope you get it fixed since I prefer using Netscape to browse.

[Ed note: Older versions of Netscape and IE do not properly render certain elements of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). We have corrected that problem. Thank you for letting us know!]
